Aaron Miller, RMT

Aaron is a graduate and RMT who studied at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy, the leading school for Registered Massage Therapy in Canada.  He is insured through the Registered Massage Therapists Association of BC and vetted through the Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General for work with children and vulnerable adults.

As an intern therapist, Aaron treated a broad range of patients, from people who just want to relax, people with delayed onset muscle soreness and musculoskeletal imbalances, to people with systemic conditions such as Fibromyalgia, Cancer, Diabetes, and also completed his case study on patients having Multiple Sclerosis. Aaron has worked with people who have Parkinson’s disease, have had stroke, and people with special needs such as autism and downs syndrome.

Aaron’s aim is to work with his patients to develop strategies for continuing improvement of acute dysfunctions or management of chronic conditions, and reduce frequency and intensity of pain and discomfort or to reduce restriction of functional movements.

Aaron has a background as a military veteran and a sports and first aid instructor. Because of this background his specific interests include working with people having sports related injuries such as tennis elbow or golfers elbow and other repetitive use strains, as well as working with people recovering from traumatic injuries or having mental health complications such as anxiety and ptsd.

In his free time, if Aaron is not working on writing a book, Aaron still teaches and participates in kayaking, rock climbing, skiing, snowboarding, and first aid as a side hustle. He is a volunteer with the Mount Washington Ski Patrol and thoroughly enjoys time on the ocean or in the mountains.
